Once the client has chosen the gown and sketches and silk samples approved, measurements are taken. A calico toile which is a cotton mock-up of the gown is made. It is then adjusted until it fits perfectly.
The toile is then taken apart and used to cut the actual fabric. There are three fittings and a final fitting with shoes and accessories four weeks before the wedding. Each gown comes complete with internal corset for a fabulous fit.
